The library is open for student use each noon hour with a librarian available. The following is a list of guidelines:
The library is for reading and working in a QUIET ATMOSPHERE.
REFERENCE books and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHICS remain in the library.
PHOTOCOPYING must be done by the librarian, library volunteer, teacher or teacher assistant.
There is to be no food, chewing gum or drinks in the library.
Students are not to use personal disks in the student computers. The Internet is for school related work only. There is NO E-MAILING.
Please place returned books in the wooden box just inside the library door. If you have an overdue book, you cannot check out another book until all overdue books are returned.
When you use a book in the library and you do not wish to sign it out, please return it to it’s proper place on the shelf.
No walkmans or discmans in the library.
BOOK BAGS are to be left on the desk at the front door.
When a teacher signs up for the library, students are to give up the computer for that teacher’s students.
If a student is not with his or her class but wishes to use the computer, they must have a permission slip signed by their teacher.
